This Privacy Policy explains how CARIDEMA collects, uses and processes personal data when you visit caridema.com (the "Site") or submit information through its contact form, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended.

2. Data collected

We collect only the personal data necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

The Site is not intended to collect special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR, nor does CARIDEMA collect payment information through the Site.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

• Responding to inquiries and evaluating potential engagements: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, CARIDEMA's legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
• Business development communications: CARIDEMA's legitimate interest in maintaining professional relationships and communicating with business contacts, subject to your right to object at any time.
• Audience measurement and analytics: your consent, where required.
• Site security, fraud prevention and abuse detection: CARIDEMA's legitimate interests in protecting the Site, its systems and its users.
• Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations: compliance with applicable legal requirements, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities.

4. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be accessed by authorized CARIDEMA personnel and, where appropriate, routed internally to the office best suited to handle your inquiry based on the relevant territory or market. Contact form submissions are processed through the Site and forwarded directly to CARIDEMA by email. No third-party form-management provider is used. CARIDEMA uses only the service providers necessary to operate and maintain the Site, including:

• Analytics: Google Analytics, used for audience measurement subject to your consent.

Where these providers act as processors on CARIDEMA's behalf, they process personal data in accordance with CARIDEMA's instructions and applicable contractual requirements under Article 28 of the GDPR. CARIDEMA does not sell personal data.

5. Retention periods

• Contact inquiries and business development records: up to 3 years from the date of your last meaningful interaction with CARIDEMA.
• Client and engagement records: for the duration of the engagement and thereafter for the applicable statutory limitation periods.
• Technical and security logs: up to 12 months.
• Cookies and similar technologies: up to 13 months, where applicable. Cookie consent preferences: retained for up to 6 months.
• Analytics data: up to 25 months.

6. International Data Transfers

Because certain service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, CARIDEMA relies on appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards as required by applicable law, which may include an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. 7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions provided by applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict its processing, object to certain processing, and receive certain data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. CARIDEMA may request proof of identity where reasonably necessary to verify your request. 8. Cookies and other trackers

These measures include HTTPS encryption, access controls, data minimization, security logging and regular software and component updates. Although no information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, CARIDEMA will notify the competent supervisory authority and, where required by law, affected individuals of any personal data breach that meets the applicable notification thresholds.
